Dr. Christopher Tkach grew up around orthopedics with both his father and grandfather practicing orthopedic medicine at McBride. He knew when he left for college practicing medicine was his goal, but it wasn’t until medical school he discovered a desire to pursue a surgical aspect. He realized quickly there was “one specialty that helped people the most significantly and consistently and that was orthopedics” – he also realized immediately joint reconstruction is a life-changing surgery, which has an enormous effect on quality of life. Dr. Tkach believes providing a passageway for patients to return to basic activities can alter the trajectory of their attitude and overall wellness. He is excited to come to work every day to partner with patients on an effective course of action and unlock new opportunities for positive health. Raised in Oklahoma City, he is looking forward to making an impact on the community and caring for people who are struggling with joint pain and disability.
