Kevin McMenamin is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in various roles within law firms and governmental legal departments. Currently serving as Special Counsel at McCabes Lawyers since March 2022, Kevin has held similar positions at Thompson Cooper Lawyers and has previously worked as an Associate at RPC-law firm and as a Lawyer in the Government Legal Department. Kevin's career began at Thompson Cooper Lawyers in multiple capacities, including Senior Associate, Associate, and Solicitor. Kevin started the legal journey at K. J. McMenamin & Sons as a Solicitor. Kevin holds a dual degree in Law (LLB) and History (BA) from the University of Canterbury, completed in 2009, and is an alumnus of St Bede's College.
