Romeena de Almeida

Romeena de Almeida, PMP, currently serves as Project Manager for Global Growth & Strategy at McCain Foods since November 2022. With extensive experience in project management, Romeena has held various roles within the PMI Lakeshore Ontario Chapter since June 2016, including Newsletter Team Member, Portfolio Manager for Communications & Infrastructure, and Social Media Project Manager. Previous positions include Product Innovation Manager at BioSteel and Project Manager at Canopy Growth Corporation, where responsibilities encompassed roles in the Canopy Animal Health sector. Earlier experience includes Project Manager for New Product Launch at Iovate Health Sciences International Inc. and Logistics Coordinator at CMA CGM Log. Romeena also contributed to TEDxUofT as Director of Logistics and served as an Emergency Room Volunteer at Trillium Health Centre. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Toronto Mississauga, earned between 2012 and 2016.
