Thiago Simões has a diverse work experience in the field of procurement and supply chain management. Thiago started their career as a Pharmacy Intern at Buenos Ayres Pharmacy in 2008. Thiago then worked as a Supply Chain Intern and later as a Supply Chain Assistant at Genomma Lab from 2010 to 2012.

In 2012, Thiago joined McCain Foods as a Supply Chain Assistant, where they handled customer service tasks and import orders from various countries. Thiago later served as a Senior Supply Chain Analyst, Supply Chain Supervisor, and Logistic Operations Supervisor, overseeing logistics and foreign trade departments.

Thiago took on the role of Supply Chain Coordinator at McCain Foods in 2017, responsible for warehouse, transport, and foreign trade departments. Thiago then became the Indirect and Logistics Procurement Manager, focusing on developing new projects and agreements with stakeholders and optimizing costs.

In 2019, Thiago transitioned to the role of Sr. Procurement Manager Brazil at McCain Foods. There, they managed the procurement department for various categories, including direct materials, packaging, logistics, and capex/MRO. Thiago also played a key role in establishing the supply chain network for a new factory.

Currently, Thiago is the Procurement Integration Lead for Appetizers CE at McCain Foods, where they pursue cost synergies, savings, and operational excellence for the snacks and appetizers business. Thiago leads Capex projects, reduces energy risks, and maintains relationships with key suppliers.

Previously, in 2013, Thiago briefly worked at PPD as a GCS Associate Logistics Coordinator, responsible for managing clinical supplies and performing local purchase activities for assigned studies.

Thiago Simões holds a Industrial Administration Graduation degree in Business Administration and Management from USP - Universidade de São Paulo, which they completed from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they pursued a Foreign Trade Technological Undergraduation degree at Universidade Anhembi Morumbi from 2011 to 2012. Thiago also obtained a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from Pós Graduação - Faculdades Oswaldo Cruz, specializing in Pharmacy, from 2007 to 2011. In addition, Thiago completed a Logistics Technician program at Senac from 2010 to 2011. Thiago briefly studied Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services at Languages International - Auckland (New Zealand) in 2008.
