Ravi Lankapalli

Ravi Lankapalli, PhD, PAg, CSPO, is a seasoned professional in the field of digital agriculture and food process engineering, currently serving as the Global Product Owner for Digital Agriculture at McCain Foods since October 2015. With a strong focus on futuristic potato quality assessment methods and technologies, Ravi has also held roles such as Strategic Raw Quality Manager and Agriculture Technology Lead, contributing to capital engineering and process improvement projects. Prior experience includes research and teaching assistant positions at the University of Manitoba, where work involved developing an efficient grain quality inspection system and teaching food process engineering fundamentals. Ravi's educational background includes a PhD in Biosystems Engineering, an M.Tech. in Food Process Engineering, and a B.Tech. in Food Science, complemented by experience in quality control and research across various agricultural technology domains.
