Amanda Mikesell

Amanda Mikesell has a diverse work experience. Amanda currently works as a Business Office Director at McCallum Place Eating Disorder Centers since 2022. Prior to this, they were a Billing Manager at Specialized Wound Management starting from 2019. From 2016 to 2019, Amanda worked at Total Access Urgent Care as a Lead Billing Specialist, where they managed a team of 12 personnel and implemented a training program that reduced billing errors. Amanda was an MBA Student at Brenau University from 2014 to 2016. Before that, they served as an Office Manager/Medical Billing and Coding professional at Vision Source Family Eye Care from 2010 to 2014, where they oversaw office operations and managed patient records. Amanda also gained experience as an Office Assistant at Karin E. Meng, M.S., O.D. & Nicole Janovitch, O.D. from 2008 to 2009, where they assisted with patient appointments and insurance billing.

Amanda Mikesell completed an Associate's degree in Criminal Justice from Shoreline Community College from 1999 to 2001. Amanda then pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Sociology (law, society, and social policy) at the University of Washington from 2001 to 2003. Later, they undertook a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Healthcare Management at Brenau University from 2014 to 2016.
