Kathryn Schierberl

Kathryn Schierberl's work experience includes roles at various companies. Kathryn started their career as a Research Technician at Brown University and Harvard Medical School in 2006 and 2007, respectively. Kathryn then pursued their PhD at Weill Cornell Medical College from 2008 to 2013, where they focused on the molecular mechanisms underlying cocaine addiction. Following that, they worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at New York University from 2014 to explore protein translation in a mouse model of Fragile X Syndrome.

Schierberl then transitioned into the healthcare advertising industry, working at BGB New York as a Medical Writer and later as an Associate Medical Director from 2014 to 2018. Kathryn then joined Concentric Health Experience as a VP of Medical Strategy from 2018 to 2019 before moving on to their current role as SVP of Scientific Strategy at McCann Health New York, a position they have held since April 2021.

Kathryn Schierberl obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Neuroscience from Bates College between 2004 and 2008. Following that, they pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Neuroscience at the Joan & Sanford I. Weill Medical College of Cornell University from 2008 to 2013.
