Thandeka S Gilbert

Thandeka S Gilbert is a seasoned creative professional with extensive experience in the advertising industry. Currently serving as Creative Group Head at McCann Joburg since February 2023, Thandeka also holds the position of Senior Art Director and Copywriter at THE ODD NUMBER since April 2020. Previous roles include Art Director at FCB Africa from January 2017 to April 2020 and Art Director at MetropolitanRepublic from February 2014 to December 2016. Thandeka began their career as an Art Director intern at Metropolitan Republic and has also completed internships at JWT and McCann Worldgroup. Thandeka holds a Visual Communications Diploma from the AAA School of Advertising, attained between 2011 and 2014.
