Maureen McCausland

Maureen McCausland, DNSc, RN, FAAN, currently serves as a Senior Advisor at McChrystal Group since July 2019. Prior to this role, McCausland was a Senior Policy Service Professor of Nursing at George Washington University from July 2015 to July 2019 and Senior Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer at MedStar Health from September 2010 to June 2019. Additional experience includes serving as Senior Vice President of Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Officer at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics from November 2003 to August 2010, and as Chief Nurse Executive and Associate Dean for Nursing Practice at the University of Pennsylvania from January 1997 to December 2003. Earlier positions include Vice President for Nursing at The Mount Sinai Hospital from June 1994 to December 1996. Maureen McCausland holds a cum laude BS in Nursing and MS in Community Health Nursing from Boston College, a DNSc in Nursing Administration from Boston University, and is a Johnson & Johnson/Wharton Executive Fellow from The Wharton School.
