Colleen McCain Nelson

Colleen McCain Nelson is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in editorial leadership and reporting. Currently serving as Executive Editor of The Sacramento Bee and Regional Editor for California at McClatchy, Colleen has previously held prominent positions such as National Opinion Editor at The Kansas City Star and Vice President and Editorial Page Editor at the same publication. Colleen's background includes roles as White House Correspondent and Political Reporter for The Wall Street Journal, as well as Editorial Columnist, Editorial Writer, and Reporter for The Dallas Morning News. Colleen began the journalism career as a Reporter at The Fort Worth Star-Telegram. Colleen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from The University of Kansas.
