Debra Henderson

Debra Henderson, PHR, SHRM-CP, currently serves as the Corporate Senior Employee Relations Specialist and East Regional HR Business Partner at McClatchy since January 2017. Prior to this role, Debra accumulated extensive experience at The State Newspaper from September 1984 to January 2017, where roles included Human Resources Director, Human Resources Operations Manager, Environmental Health and Safety Manager, Payroll Manager, Systems and Training Coordinator, Human Resources Assistant, and Personnel Assistant. In these positions, Debra functioned as the chief compliance officer for company policies and procedures. Education includes studies at Midlands Technical College and the University of South Carolina.
