Heather McGinnis

Heather McGinnis is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in digital and print media sales. Currently serving as Vice President of Key Accounts and Major/National Sales Director at McClatchy since October 2018, Heather leads and trains national sales teams across 30 newspapers while cultivating relationships with key advertising agencies. Prior to this role, Heather was the Senior Director of Digital and Customer Success at H-L Media/Excelerate Digital, where digital strategies achieved double-digit sales growth and managed significant budgets. Heather's career began at the Lexington Herald-Leader, where various leadership roles included Digital and Classified Director, Digital Sales Manager, and Assistant Classified Manager, contributing to substantial annual revenue generation. Heather holds a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from Eastern Kentucky University.
