Jeremy Gockel

Jeremy Gockel currently serves as the Vice President of Culture and Diversity at McClatchy, a position held since January 2001, where responsibilities include leading the development of strategies and policies to foster diversity and inclusion within the workforce. Previous roles at McClatchy encompass Senior Director, Director of Learning and Development, Director of Team Development and Intrapreneurship, Associate Director of Product Management, Senior Product Manager, Product Manager, and Cultural Diversity Facilitator. In addition to McClatchy, Jeremy Gockel has been a member of the Board of Directors for the Local Media Association since October 2017 and served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from September 2016 to December 2018. Jeremy Gockel holds a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education and Teaching from Siena College, earned in 1998.
