Rachel Malpeli has extensive work experience in the digital media and advertising industry. Rachel started their career in 2004 as a Naturopathic Assistant at Holistic Health Clinic. In 2005, they transitioned to the healthcare sector and worked as an Otolaryngology Medical Assistant & Billing Specialist at Multicare Tacoma General Hospital.

Rachel then shifted their focus to the media industry and joined The News Tribune in 2007 as a Digital Media Specialist. Rachel later joined The Charlotte Observer in 2012, where they served as a Digital Specialist and Team Lead.

In 2014, Rachel joined The Greenville News Media Group as a Digital Advertising Specialist. Rachel then moved to McClatchy in 2015 and held various roles. Rachel started as a Digital Market Development Manager and later became the Director of Digital Solutions Training in 2017. In 2019, they were promoted to Director, Digital Solutions and subsequently became the Sr. Director of Digital Solutions in 2023. Rachel's most recent role at McClatchy is the Sr. Director of Digital Performance.

Rachel Malpeli earned a Bachelor's degree in IAS from the University of Washington from 2005 to 2007, with a focus on Social Sciences, Art, and Business. In 2016, they obtained a Certified Health Coach (CHC) certification from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Additionally, Rachel has obtained various certifications in leadership, strategic thinking, project leadership, digital marketing, and sales.
