Richard Rinehart has extensive work experience in operations and strategic planning in the media industry. Richard began their career in 1989 as an Operations Director at The Indianapolis Star and later joined Gannett as the Director of Operations in Indianapolis. In 2005, they moved to McClatchy Newspapers as the VP of Operations and eventually became the Corporate Director for Production. Rinehart then took on the role of Regional VP of Operations and Strategic Planning at McClatchy before being promoted to Corporate Vice President of Operations, where they are responsible for streamlining functions, leveraging assets, and generating new sources of revenue for McClatchy.
Richard Rinehart obtained a BSME degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida between 1984 and 1989. Richard further pursued an MBA in Business Management at Indiana Wesleyan University from 1992 to 1994.
