Jay Heckenlively has a diverse work experience in the real estate industry, with a focus on development and investment. Jay started working at Trainor Robertson in 1988 as an Attorney, where they stayed until 1999. In 2000, they joined McClellan Business Park as an Executive Vice President and General Counsel. Since 2013, they have been working at LDK Ventures, LLC as the Principal and General Counsel, where they have been involved in various real estate projects including master-planned communities, brownfields, adaptive reuse, mixed-use, and industrial projects.
Jay Heckenlively attended Saint Mary's College of California from 1978 to 1982, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Economics. Jay then pursued further education at the University of the Pacific - McGeorge School of Law from 1985 to 1988, earning a law degree.

McClellan Business Park
The County of Sacramento selected McClellan Business Park, LLC, in 1999 to acquire and redevelop McClellan Air Force Base. McClellan Air Force Base was renamed McClellan Business Park (McClellan Park) in 2001. McClellan Park boasts a fully-operational airport, full-service hotel, fitness facility, rail system, office, industrial, retail and dormitories. The project consists of 3,000 acres with approximately 8.5 million square feet of useable buildings and 500 acres of developable land and is fully entitled for over 16 million square feet of commercial, retail, office and residential buildings.
