George Campbell

Business Development Lead at McClure

George Campbell has had a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries and roles. Starting in 1980, they served as Commissioner at Maine DOT for four years. George then went on to found Governmental Services, Inc and served as its President and Owner for almost a decade. In 1995, they became President of PA Strategies for five years before taking on the role of President at CBRE/ The Boulos Company from 2000 to 2007. George then served as Commissioner at the New Hampshire Department of Transportation from 2008 to 2011. George worked as a Senior Advisor at Lexden Capital from 2013 to 2015, and as Vice President at The Louis Berger Group from 2013 to 2015. George also held the position of Foundation President and Vice President of Advancement at the University of Southern Maine from 2015 to 2018. In 2018, they became President at James W Sewall Company, where they served until January 2024. Currently, George is working as the Business Development Lead at McClure.

George Campbell earned their Master's of Public Administration degree from the University of Maine, where they studied Public Administration from 1971 to 1979.
