Laura Mercadante, GBA has a diverse work experience in the insurance and benefits industry. Laura started their career as a Marketing Specialist at Silberstein Insurance Group in December 2003 and worked there until July 2010. Laura then joined The Glatfelter Agency in November 2010 as a CSA Supervisor, Benefits, before moving to McConkey Insurance & Benefits in July 2011. At McConkey, Laura held various roles including Executive Benefits Client Service Agent, Manager of Client Services, Operations Manager of the Benefits Division, and currently serves as the Director of Employee Benefits, a position they have held since March 2020. Laura has been with McConkey Insurance & Benefits for over 10 years, showcasing their dedication and expertise in the industry.

Laura Mercadante, GBA pursued their higher education starting in 1998 at Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania, where they focused their studies on marketing. After completing their studies there in 1999, they transferred to Penn State University. At Penn State, Laura Mercadante, GBA continued their studies in marketing and successfully obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in 2002.
