Jennifer Rivera

Senior Vice President, External Affairs at McCourt Partners

Jennifer P. Rivera is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in public leadership and political consulting. Currently serving as Senior Vice President at McCourt Partners since February 2021, Jennifer previously held the position of Glen Dubin Fellow at Harvard University's Center for Public Leadership from June 2017 to May 2018. Jennifer's tenure with the City of Los Angeles spanned from January 2007 to December 2017, during which roles included Chief of Staff to the City Controller and Deputy Chief of Staff to the Los Angeles City Council. Additionally, the political consultancy experience was gained at Shallman Communications from December 2011 to June 2013. Academically, Jennifer holds a Master of Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School (2017-2018), a Master of Arts in Communication Management from the University of Southern California (2011-2012), a Master of Arts in International Relations from the University of Kent (2004-2006), and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Loyola Marymount University (2000-2004).
