Melissa Porritt is an experienced library professional with a diverse background in various library roles. Currently serving as a Systems Librarian at McCullough Robertson since January 2022, Melissa has previously held positions as an Assistant Librarian at HopgoodGanim from May 2011 to December 2021, and as a Librarian at SKM from 1998 to 2011. Earlier in the career, Melissa worked as a Reference Desk Librarian at Redland Shire Council for several months in 1998, and as a Library Technician at BHP Minerals and BHP Petroleum from 1996 to 1998 and 1993 to 1996, respectively. The library journey began as a Library Assistant at Shell from 1988 to 1993. Melissa's foundational education was completed at Colac High School.
