Tyler Schlosser

Tyler Schlosser has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Tyler started their career at Verdazo Analytics as an Engineer In Training in 2007 and progressed to become a Director of Commodities Research and later a Chief Data Scientist. In 2016, Tyler joined GLJ Petroleum Consultants as a Senior Engineer and held various positions such as Director of Economics & Risk and Manager of Engineering. In 2018, they returned to Verdazo Analytics as a Senior Technical Advisor and eventually became the Chief Data Scientist. Tyler also worked as an Instructor at Saga Wisdom starting in 2020. Currently, they are the Director of Data Science at McDaniel & Associates. Throughout their career, Tyler has also served as a Member of the Board of Directors at Verdazo Analytics from 2013 to 2016.

Tyler Schlosser completed the Business Essentials Program at the Haskayne School of Business from 2016 to 2017. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) with Distinction in Mechanical Engineering at the Schulich School of Engineering, University of Calgary from 2001 to 2007. In addition to their formal education, Tyler obtained certifications such as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) from the CFA Institute in 2021, a Bullet Proof Manager from Crestcom International, LLC in 2017, and a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation from The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA) in 2010.
