Keith Lawson

Keith Lawson is a distinguished legal professional with extensive experience in tax law and governance. Currently serving as a member of the Board of Trustees at McDaniel College since February 2023, Lawson has contributed significantly to the field as Deputy General Counsel - Tax Law at the Investment Company Institute from June 1988 until retirement in February 2024. Prior roles include Associate at Miller & Chevalier from 1984 to 1988 and Law Clerk to Chief Judge Theodore Tannenwald at the US Tax Court from September 1982 to September 1984. Keith Lawson earned a Juris Doctor with Highest Honors from The George Washington University Law School and holds a Bachelor's degree, summa cum laude, in Political Science and Economics from McDaniel College.
