Jessica L. Dubuar

Assistant Clinical Director at Haymarket Center

Ms. Jessica Dubuar directs Haymarket Center’s Health & Wellness and Specialty Services for clients living with or vulnerable to HIV, AIDS, and Hepatitis C. An Illinois licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC) since 2014, she provides clinical supervision to Haymarket’s case managers, health navigators, and recovery coaches, ensuring effective delivery of integrated substance use treatment, medical and psychiatric care. Prior to joining Haymarket in 2013, Ms. Dubuar worked as a program manager for Chicago House and Howard Brown Health, linking adult and adolescent clients living with HIV to care, education, and other services. At Howard Brown Health, she directed the implementation of the Physical/Psychosocial Advocacy and Treatment for HIV Program, which was funded by the Health Resources and Services Administration’s Ryan White Part D grant and remains in use today. Over almost two decades, Ms. Dubuar has developed, monitored, and evaluated programs to address the unique needs of homeless and LGBTQ youth and adolescents. An accomplished researcher, educator, and speaker, she has presented on themes of HIV and substance abuse, Hepatitis C treatment, and peer-based counseling at conferences for AIDS Foundation of Chicago, Haymarket Summer Institute, LGTBQ Health Conference, Center for Community Health, and the American Medical Association. Ms. Dubuar holds an MA in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University and a BS in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh.
