Michael Baldinger

Medical Director at Haymarket Center

As Medical Director, Dr. Michael Baldinger oversees and coordinates medical care for Haymarket Center’s 25+ residential and outpatient treatment and recovery programs. He manages development and implementation of evidence-based treatments to safely address substance use and co-occurring disorders. Additionally, Dr. Baldinger provides clinical training to Haymarket’s 300+ employees. A specialist in the field of addiction medicine, Dr. Baldinger earned a certification in addictions medicine from the American Society of Addiction Medicine in 1986. He holds a BA from New York University and an MD from Mt. Sinai School of Medicine. Dr. Baldinger completed his residency in internal medicine at Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn. He is a board-certified physician in internal and geriatric medicine.
