Mehrzad Heidari

Mehrzad Heidari is a Principal Engineer at McDermott International Inc., leading engineering teams in the execution of subsea EPCI projects since February 2019. Previously, as Lead Structural Engineer at Subsea 7 from 2017 to 2019, Mehrzad oversaw the design and development of permanent subsea structures. During tenure at EMAS GROUP (2013-2017), roles included Lead Vessel & Asset Engineer and Senior Engineer, managing vessel readiness and structural design for various offshore and subsea structures. Research Engineer experience from August 2012 to August 2013 at the University of Houston involved pipeline integrity studies and the presentation of research findings at industry conferences. Earlier roles included Project Engineer at MAG Engineering Inc. and Civil Engineering Intern at Tehran Province Water and Waste Water Company. Mehrzad holds a Master's Degree in Structural Engineering from the University of Houston and a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Tehran.
