Rimma Dzhusupova is currently a Member of the Plenary for Developing the EU General-Purpose AI Code of Practice under the AI Act at the European Commission since October 2024 and serves as a Mentor in the Women in AI Netherlands mentorship program since July 2023. At McDermott International, Ltd, Rimma has been the Artificial Intelligence Initiative Lead for the Low Carbon Solutions business line since May 2018, leading a global team focused on AI applications in engineering. Additionally, Rimma manages a team of approximately 80 Electrical & Instrumentation Engineers and Designers at McDermott. Previous experience includes roles as Lead Electrical Engineer and Electrical Engineer at CB&I, and an internship at Fortum. Rimma's education includes a PhD candidacy in Artificial Intelligence in Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology, complemented by advanced degrees in Electrical Energy Systems and Electromechanical Engineering.
