Rachel Hammel

Rachel Hammel, CCP, has extensive experience in payroll and compensation analysis, currently serving as a Senior Staff Compensation Analyst at McDermott Will & Emery since May 2016. Rachel previously held the positions of Staff Compensation Analyst and Payroll Specialist, managing payroll for over 2,000 employees nationwide and handling time and attendance processes. Prior to McDermott Will & Emery, Rachel worked as a Payroll Administrator at Preferred Meals, overseeing payroll for 1,800 employees and managing legal garnishments and benefits processes. Earlier experience includes roles as a Student Supervisor at Piazza Dining Center and a Human Resource Intern at Edward Hospital, gaining valuable insights into organizational dynamics and employee contributions. Rachel began their career as a General Laborer at Wilson Building Corp. Rachel holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resources Management from the University of Northern Iowa.
