Michael McDonald

Michael McDonald co-founded McDonald Electrical Corp in 1999 with Vice President Thomas Cooney. Mr. McDonald has more than 30 years of experience in the industry on some of the most complex projects in the Greater Boston area. As president of McDonald Electrical, he is responsible for the company’s overall operation, and maintains day-to-day involvement in business development and pre-construction services for his clients. Having started in the industry at an early age, Mr. McDonald possesses a diverse background, giving him a unique understanding of how to effectively manage projects and provide value to his clients.

Mr. McDonald currently serves as the President of the Boston Chapter of the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA). He also serves as the Chairman of the Boston Chapter’s Legislative Committee and on the Joint Conference Committee and Joint Apprenticeship and Training (JATC) Committee.
