Heather Kowalczyk

As vice president at McDougall Communications, Heather provides strategic counsel to clients, working with them to develop comprehensive public relations programs that reflect their brand, mission, and messaging.

After more than 15 years in the field, Heather has developed significant experience in a wide variety of industries, including optometry, medical device, telecommunications, accounting, high technology, education, and more. Prior to joining McDougall Communications in 2014, she served for four years as a public relations and social media account supervisor at Martino Flynn, and previously worked at Eric Mower and Associates and St. John Fisher College.

Heather earned her bachelor's degree in public relations from the State University of New York College at Fredonia. From 2006 - 2012, she served a six-year tenure volunteering on the board of directors for the Rochester Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America, in roles including president and treasurer.
