Geoffrey Aharon has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Geoffrey began their career as a Camp Supervisor and Counselor at Shadow Lake Centre and later worked as a Daytime Staff member at DANI Toronto, where they provided support for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Geoffrey also served as Editor-in-Chief of Your Voice, an alternative student newspaper, and as a Security Evangelist for JewlBay.
In 2014, Geoffrey joined the Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs (CIJA) as a Research and Communications specialist. Geoffrey also worked as a Graduate Assistant at the Faculty of Disaster and Emergency Management at York University during the same year.
Geoffrey's involvement with political activism began in 2014 when they became a Fellow at CJPAC, a grassroots campaign providing political and professional training to politically active university students.
In 2015, Geoffrey briefly worked as a Security Analyst at Deloitte Canada before transitioning to MCE Systems in 2016. At MCE Systems, Geoffrey held multiple roles, including Field Engineer, Technical Account Manager, Solutions Architect, and most recently, Head of Solution Architecture.
Throughout their career, Geoffrey has demonstrated a commitment to supporting individuals with disabilities and actively participating in political activism and research.
Geoffrey Aharon holds a Master's Degree in Disaster and Emergency Management from York University, which was completed in 2016. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration and Justice Studies with Specialized Honours from the same university in 2014. In addition to their degrees, Geoffrey also obtained certifications in IMS 200 and BEM 100 from the Government of Ontario in 2014.
