Rani Wiedemann

Senior Project Manager And Reclamation Lead at McElhanney

Rani Wiedemann has extensive work experience in the environmental and project management field. Rani began their career in 1997 as a Reclamation Technician/Environmental Supervisor at WasteCo Environmental Services. From 2003 to 2008, they served as the President and Senior Manager at Glacier Environmental Ltd. Rani then joined RCGI as a Senior Project Manager from 2008 to 2016. In 2009, they briefly worked as a Water Resources Intern at the Town of Richmond Hill.

In 2015, Wiedemann took on the role of an Upstream Oil & Gas Instructor at Associated Environmental Site Assessors of Canada (AESAC). Rani provided instruction in Upstream Oil & Gas Phase 1 Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs).

Since 2016, Wiedemann has been associated with McElhanney, holding various positions. Rani initially worked as a Senior Project Manager and Reclamation Lead until 2021. From 2019 to 2020, they served as a Division Manager - Environmental Services. Rani then became the Environment Team Lead - Alberta at McElhanney from 2020 to 2021. Currently, they hold the position of a Senior Project Manager at McElhanney, focusing on reclamation projects.

Rani Wiedemann received a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Environmental Biology from the University of Alberta in 1998. In 2009, they pursued a Master of Environmental Science at the University of Toronto.
