Joel Bair has been involved in a variety of legal roles throughout their career. Joel began their legal career in 1978 as an Attorney at Law at the Law Offices of Joel E. Bair. In 1975, they served as a Lt., JAG Corps for the U.S. Navy. From 1987 to 1997, they were a Partner at Varnum, Riddering, Schmidt & Howlett. From 1997 to 2001, they were a Partner at Rader, Fishman & Grauer. In 1996, they were the Chair of the Intellectual Property Law Section at the State Bar of Michigan. Since 2001, they have been the Founder and Of Counsel at McGarry Bair PC, where they also serve as the Founder and Secretary. Joel Bair attended Indiana Institute of Technology from 1967 to 1971, where they earned a B.S. Ae. E. in Aerospace Engineering. Joel then attended Notre Dame Law School from 1971 to 1974, where they earned a J.D. in Law. Following this, they attended the University of Notre Dame from 1972 to 1975, where they earned a M.S. in Environmental Health Engineering.
