Blake Sartin, GISP, C.M., serves as the GIS Manager for the Metropolitan Knoxville Airport Authority since January 2006, overseeing the development and maintenance of Geographic Information Systems for McGhee Tyson Airport and Downtown Island Airport in Knoxville, TN. Previously, Blake held the position of GIS Manager at the Northeast Georgia Regional Commission from October 2001 to January 2006, where responsibilities included developing and supporting GIS data and applications for numerous counties and cities in northeast Georgia. Prior to that, Blake worked as a Research Associate at the University of Tennessee from 1996 to October 2001, focusing on GIS database development for federal sponsors such as the Federal Highway Administration and the Federal Rail Administration. Blake holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, earned from 1992 to 2000.
