Fabrice Labeau

Fabrice Labeau currently serves as the Vice-President of Administration and Finance at McGill University, a position held since December 2000, alongside roles as Professor and Deputy Provost for Student Life and Learning. Labeau has extensive leadership experience within IEEE, holding various positions including Vice President of Publications for the IEEE Systems Council and President Elect of the IEEE Consumer Technology Society. Prior positions within IEEE include President, Senior Past President, and various other leadership roles across multiple councils and societies, demonstrating a strong commitment to the advancement of electrical engineering. Labeau earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical Engineering from Université catholique de Louvain between 1997 and 2000.
