Karim Moussaly

Karim Moussaly is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in financial services and project control, currently serving as Senior Finance Officer and Project Control Officer for major capital projects at McGill University since November 2017. Prior roles at McGill include Senior Financial Planning Analyst, where responsibilities included redesigning corporate budget documents and providing financial advisory services to academic programs. Moussaly’s career with the Government of Canada spanned nearly a decade, during which diverse roles included Manager in the Employment Insurance Policy Division, Analyst-Advisor at the Privy Council Office, and Economist-Advisor at the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat, among others. Educationally, Moussaly holds a Master’s degree and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Université de Montréal.
