Leah Lavoie

Leah Lavoie is a graduate student pursuing a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering at McGill University, expected to graduate in April 2025. Leah has served as a Teaching Assistant for the FACC 300 course on Engineering Economy since January 2022 and has extensive research experience as a Graduate Student Researcher in the Fluid Dynamics Lab. Leah also held a leadership role as Head of Internal Affairs for the McGill Biomechanics Club and provided tutoring services through the Engineering Peer Tutoring Service for FACC 300. Previous professional experience includes a Mechanical Engineering Internship at MMC Packaging Equipment and roles as a nanny at CLSC and a camp counselor at Explorations Day Camp. Leah holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Honours Mechanical Engineering from McGill University and a diploma of collegial studies in Pure and Applied Sciences from Marianopolis College.
