Niloy Barua

Niloy Barua is an undergraduate researcher at McGill University, currently engaged in projects including the study of surface instabilities of impulsive liquids and optimization of slotted airfoils. With experience as a Graduate Student Assistant for an Advanced/Optimal Control course, responsibilities included creating grading schemes and providing feedback on optimal control concepts. Previous roles included thermal analysis for the Canadarm3 and system engineering for the DreamChaser Program at MDA, as well as mechanical design and research positions in various settings including the McGill Rocket Team and Collège Montmorency. Niloy Barua is pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Honors Mechanical Engineering at McGill University, with a strong background in fluid dynamics and aerospace projects.
