Scott Weichenthal

Scott Weichenthal is a prominent academic and researcher, currently serving as the Founding Director at IMAGINE Environment since March 2023, while also holding the position of Associate Professor in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at McGill University since May 2016. Dr. Weichenthal has extensive experience in public health research, having worked as a Research Scientist at Health Canada from April 2008 to April 2016, where responsibilities included designing and conducting epidemiological studies on air pollution's health effects. Scott Weichenthal earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Epidemiology, alongside a Master's degree in Occupational Health and Industrial Hygiene, and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Biochemistry, all from McGill University.
