Chris Todd is a Trial Attorney in MKCI’s New York City office. He has 20 years experience trying cases before New York Courts. Chris’s practice is primarily in the area of civil trial law, with a focus on representing individuals and companies accused of causing injuries to other people through negligence and/or reckless conduct. He has also represented clients in commercial litigation, product liability defense, construction law, and professional liability defense.
Chris is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the New York State Trial Lawyers Association. He is also the Co-Founder of the Onondaga County Veteran’s Pro Bono Legal Clinic and was the recipient of the Onondaga County Bar Association Pro Bono Service Award for his efforts.
Chris obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the University at Buffalo, where he was an editor for the Buffalo Law Review, the Buffalo Environmental Law Journal, and a recipient of the Robert J. Connelly Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy. Chris earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies and Policy & Management from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry, where he won the Benjamin and David Scharps Prize for Legal Writing. Before attending college, Christopher was a Non-Commissioned Officer in the United States Army, serving as a forward observer for the artillery and is a veteran of the Persian Gulf War.
