Nicolas Thiery

Nicolas Thiery serves as the Chief Technology Officer at McGraw Hill since August 2013, following a notable tenure as CTO and Co-Founder of ALEKS Corporation from August 1999 to August 2013. Prior to these roles, Nicolas worked as a researcher at the University of California, Irvine from March 1994 to August 1999. Educationally, Nicolas holds a PhD in Math Behavioral Science from UC Irvine, completed between 1995 and 2000, and a Master of Advanced Studies in Computer Science (DEA Informatique) from Université de Rennes I in 1994. Additional qualifications include an engineering degree with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence from IMT Atlantique obtained from 1991 to 1994, and a Bac S in Mathematics from Lycée Charles-le-Chauve.
