Jewel Ames

Jewel Ames, MAT, MEd, possesses extensive experience in education, currently serving as a Librarian at McGuffey School District since March 2021. Prior to this role, Jewel worked in the Department of Special Services at McGuffey School District as a Para-Educator from April 2013 to March 2021, providing instructional support for life skills students and collaborating with teachers and therapists. Additional experience includes positions as an English Instructor in the Summer Education Enrichment for Kids program, a STEM Instructor at The Pennsylvania State University, and various roles as a substitute teacher and long-term substitute in multiple school districts. Jewel holds a Master of Education in Special Education and Teaching, a Master of Arts in Secondary Education, and a Bachelor's degree in English, along with secondary education certification.
