Amanda Falkenbury has extensive work experience in government relations, lobbying, and legal roles. Amanda is currently Vice President of State Government Relations at McGuireWoods Consulting, a position they have held since March 2023. Prior to this, they were the President of 12th State Strategies from January 2023 to March 2023. Amanda also worked as an Attorney and Lobbyist at Jason Deans + Associates from September 2014 to December 2022. Amanda started their career as the Executive Director of the North Carolina Republican Attorneys Association from October 2013 to September 2014.
Amanda Falkenbury attended North Carolina State University from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication. Amanda then pursued a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Campbell University, Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law from 2009 to 2012. In August 2012, they obtained their certification as a Licensed NC Attorney from the North Carolina State Bar.
