Emily Shannon

Emily Shannon is an accomplished paramedic with extensive experience in emergency medical services and healthcare education. Currently serving as a paramedic at Montgomery County Hospital District since July 2020, Emily also operates as a CPR instructor for Health Street LLC starting in February 2018. Prior experience includes working as a licensed paramedic at Westlake Volunteer Fire Dept from November 2018 to January 2020 and serving as a nursery worker at The Woodlands United Methodist Church between September 2016 and September 2017. Emily began a professional career as a crew member at Trader Joe's from June 2013 to June 2016, engaging in various roles to support store operations. Academically, Emily holds a Bachelor's degree in Health Services from the University of Houston (2018 - December 2021) and an Associate’s degree in Emergency Medical Technology from Houston Community College (2016 - 2018). Additional educational experiences include attendance at Greenville Technical College and the University of South Carolina in 2014-2015.
