Christopher Goodrich's work experience includes serving as Deputy Chief at Montgomery County Hospital District since January 2021. Prior to this role, they were a District Chief at the same organization from February 2013 to January 2021, where they supervised the EMS staff and provided guidance and medical consultation to ambulance crews. Christopher also worked as an EMT-Paramedic, NRP from September 2007 to February 2013. Before joining Montgomery County Hospital District, they worked at Washington County EMS as a Field Training Officer / NR-Paramedic from April 2004 to August 2007 and as an Emergency Medical Technician from May 2001 to April 2004.
Christopher Goodrich, MPO, NRP has an education history that includes multiple certifications and degrees. Christopher attended Brenham High School from 1997 to 2001, earning a High School Diploma with a focus on General/Health Education. Following high school, Christopher enrolled at the Washington County EMS Academy and completed the EMT-Basic State Certification program from 2000 to 2001. Christopher continued their studies at the same academy from 2001 to 2003, specializing in Emergency Medical Technology/Technician (EMT Paramedic).
In addition to their formal education, Christopher also obtained several certifications. Christopher became a Nationally Registered Paramedic through the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians in April 2004. Christopher also received the Paramedic certification from the Texas Department of State Health Services in the same month and year. Christopher further enhanced their expertise by obtaining the Managing Paramedic Officer certification from the American College of Paramedic Executives in December 2019. In May 2021, they acquired the Certified Ambulance Documentation Specialist certification from NAAC, Inc. Most recently, in February 2023, they completed the 'Top 10 Rules for Highly Effective Leadership' course offered by LinkedIn.
