Vann Herring

When you’ve spent more than a quarter of a century with the same company, you get to know it inside out. Vann Herring’s career with McKibbon began as Director of Operations. He’s had a front-row seat as the organization has grown, evolved and flourished. From where he’s sitting today, as CEO, things have never looked better. He has one of the best teams in the business, and one of the fastest-growing hospitality forces in the country. Vann uses his intimate knowledge of the company and the overall industry to oversee all aspects of day-to-day business operations.

Every decision he makes stems from one place: his commitment and dedication to his corporate family, the people he works beside every single day. Throughout his career, he’s mentored countless individuals and watched them grow from “green” employees to respected industry leaders. To this day, it’s what he is most proud of.

Vann believes that whether he’s in the boardroom or catching one of his grandkids’ many activities, it’s the company he keeps that makes every moment worth enjoying. The University of Alabama graduate loves traveling abroad with his wife, Marita and of course, following the Crimson Tide.
