Will Carter

Will Carter is a co-founder of McKinley Carter Wealth Services, the largest independent wealth management firm in West Virginia, managing over $1 billion in assets since October 2007. In addition to wealth management, Will serves on the boards of The Marshall University Foundation, The Greater Kanawha Valley Foundation, and investment committees for various organizations. With extensive experience in commercial and natural resource management through closely held real estate companies, Will also has a passion for music, having been a bass player and founder of the Americana ensemble Blue Yonder. Will's contributions to the arts include serving on the board of the Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation and founding the Appalachian String Band Music Festival in 1990. Will's academic achievements include a Doctor of Law degree from New York University and master's and bachelor’s degrees in History from Harvard University, complemented by a certification in Business Leadership from The Aji Network.
