Artie Southam

Artie Southam, MD, serves as a Senior Advisor at McKinsey & Company focusing on health plan and health care consulting. Additionally, Artie is a member of the Board of Directors at Easterseals Southern California and a member of the Dean’s Advisory Board at UCLA Fielding School of Public Health. Previously, Artie held senior roles at Kaiser Permanente as EVP Health Plan Operations & Chief Growth Officer and contributed to CHRISTUS Health as Board Chair. With extensive leadership experience in health care, Artie’s background includes positions such as Executive Director of the California Association of Physician Groups and CEO roles at Health Systems Design, Health Net, and CareAmerica Health Plans. Artie’s educational credentials include MD and MPH degrees from UCLA, an MBA from Pepperdine, and a BA from Amherst College.
