Karina Vasudeva is a dedicated health advisor and emerging leader in public health, currently serving on the AI Issue Advisory Council at Encode Justice and interning with Ariadne Labs, focusing on health care systems and guidelines. Karina has held leadership positions at Campus Y at UNC-Chapel Hill, fostering social justice initiatives, and has actively engaged with the Community Empowerment Fund to support individuals experiencing homelessness. Experience includes conducting research on health impacts related to housing at Duke University, facilitating bioethics discussions as a fellow at the Parr Center for Ethics, and founding Project Stride to address menstrual hygiene poverty. Karina's academic background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Health Policy and Management and English and Comparative Literature from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with ongoing studies at the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health.
