Liz Houston

Liz Houston has extensive experience in leadership and external relations at McKinsey & Company since May 2006. As the McKinsey Career Network Lead for Healthcare and Life Sciences, Liz facilitates connections between senior executives and new opportunities. Previously, Liz served as Head of External Relations in the Southern United States, overseeing strategic reputation building across major cities and managing key aspects such as media relations and executive visibility. Liz also led External Relations for the Americas Marketing & Sales practice, focusing on strategic planning and marketing initiatives, and recruited advanced professional degrees primarily in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. Prior to McKinsey, Liz worked as a recruiter at Ameriprise from September 2004 to December 2005. Liz holds a B.A. in Communications and Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
