Neeraj Mehta has a diverse work experience across various organizations and roles. Neeraj started working at Project for Pride in Living in 2001, where they held the positions of Program Manager and later became a Board Member. In 2008, they joined Nexus Community Partners as a Program Officer until 2012. Neeraj then served as a 2011-2013 Bush Foundation Leadership Fellow. Neeraj further contributed to the community by serving as the Board Chair of Bright Water Montessori from 2013 to 2016. Neeraj also held roles as Adjunct Faculty at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs from 2013 to 2018 and as a Director of Community Programs at the Center for Urban and Regional Affairs - University of Minnesota from 2012 to 2018. Additionally, they served as a Board Member at Juxtaposition Arts from 2013 to 2018 and Center for Economic Inclusion from 2018 to 2019. Currently, Neeraj is associated with McKnight Foundation, where they hold the role of Interim Co Vice President of Programs since July 2023, and also as the Director of Learning since July 2018. Neeraj also serves as a Board Member at TU Dance since August 2019.
Neeraj Mehta pursued their education in a dedicated manner, beginning with their Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Minnesota between 1996 and 2000. Following this, they undertook a Master's degree in Public Policy from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs from 2001 to 2003, specializing in the field of Public Policy.
